Head Start Act - Restates specified provisions of the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 relating to Headstart programs. Retitles such programs "Head Start" programs under a "Head Start Act."
Authorizes appropriations to carry out such programs for fiscal years 1982 through 1984.
Revises provisions relating to minimum funds required for Indian and migrant Head Start programs.
Restates specified provisions of the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 relating to Native American programs. Retains as a title for such programs the "Native American Programs Act of 1974."
Authorizes appropriations for such programs for fiscal years 1982 and 1983.
