Establishes a Select Committee on the Role of the United States in the United Nations to conduct a full and complete investigation of the benefits and burdens accruing to the United States as a result of its membership. Authorizes such committee to formulate proposed legislation on any matter concerning the United Nations. Sets forth the membership, authority, and procedures for such committee.
Requires the select committee to report to the House, not later than December 31, 1982, on the results of its investigation, including any recommendations to protect the national interest. Terminates such committee 30 days after the filing of such report or January 3, 1983, whichever occurs first.
