A bill to amend title XVI of the Social Security Act to provide that assistance based on need which is furnished to an individual by a private nonprofit organization shall be excluded from such individual's income in determining his or her eligibility for SSI benefits or the amount thereof.

Amends title XVI (Supplemental Security Income) of the Social Security Act to provide that in determining the income of an individual for the purposes of determining SSI eligibility, any amount of assistance which is based on need and furnished by a private nonprofit organization shall be excluded.
