A bill to amend the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 to provide for certification by the Secretary of Labor of multiple employer welfare arrangements which are not collectively bargained and not fully insured and to define the extent to which State laws are preempted by such Act with respect to multiple employer welfare arrangements.
Multiple Employer Welfare Arrangement Act of 1982 - Amends the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) to provide for certification by the Secretary of Labor of multiple employer welfare arrangements which are not collectively bargained and not fully insured.
