H.R. 593 — A bill to amend the Social Security Act to make certain that recipients of supplemental security income benefits, recipients of social services, recipients of aid to families with dependent children, and recipients of aid or assistance under certain other Federal and federally assisted programs will not have the amount of such benefits, services, aid, or assistance reduced because of increases in monthly social security benefits; and to provide that cost-of-living increases in annuity, pension, retirement, disability, or other employment-related benefits being paid to an individual under a public program, occurring after such individual's initial entitlement to such benefits, shall not be included in such individuals income in determining his or her eligibility for supplemental security income benefits. | PoliFocus
