Amends the Tennessee Valley Authority Act of 1933 to establish the offices of Inspector General and Deputy Inspector General within the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). Directs the President, with the advice and consent of the Senate, to appoint the Inspector General and the Deputy for seven-year terms.
Sets forth the Inspector General's duties and responsibilities. Directs the Inspector General to report to the Attorney General whenever he has reasonable grounds to believe there has been a violation of Federal criminal law.
Directs the Inspector General to report annually to the TVA board of directors.
Requires Federal agency heads to furnish requested information to the Inspector General insofar as is practicable and not in contravention of existing restrictions.
