Directs the Secretary of Labor to prepare and publish monthly a Consumer Price Index for the Elderly to reflect retail prices of general purchases by persons who are at least 62 years of age.
Requires specified Government officers to report to Congress on legislative and administrative action necessary for utilizing such index in specific provisions of laws relating to retirement.
