A bill to amend the Federal Power Act to modify certain administrative procedures in order to expedite proceedings of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and for other purposes.
Wholesale Electric Rate Fairness Act - Amends the Federal Power Act to authorize the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to delegate to any Commissioner or Commission employee its authority to suspend the operation of a rate schedule with respect to electric energy.
Permits the Commission to waive the requirement that a person aggrieved by an order issued by the Commission apply for a rehearing before a proceeding to review such order can be brought. Authorizes the Commission to promulgate rules and adopt policies and procedures with respect to such rehearings.
