Increases from 365 to 730 days the length of continuous military service needed to qualify as employment for unemployment compensation purposes.
Allows individuals who leave the service voluntarily to receive such compensation.
Delays an ex-service member's entitlement until the fifth week after discharge or release from the service. Limits an ex-service member's total entitlement to no more than 13 weeks of benefits.
