A bill to amend title 18, United States Code, to authorize the Attorney General of the United States to enforce certain laws applicable with respect to firearms, to provide for certain offenses involving the use of fire, and for other purposes.

Amends the Federal criminal code to transfer from the Secretary of the Treasury to the Attorney General authority to enforce the Gun Control Act of 1968 and laws concerning the use of explosives.

Extends current prohibitions against illegal use of explosives to include destruction by fire.

Directs the Attorney General to investigate and prosecute firearms violations under the Internal Revenue Code.
