A bill to amend the Military Personnel and Civilian Employees' Claims Act of 1964 to increase from $15,000 to $20,000 the maximum amount that the United States may pay in settlement of a claim under Section 3 of that Act.
Amends the Military Personnel and Civilian Employees' Claims Act of 1964 to increase from $15,000 to $25,000 the maximum amount that the United States may pay to settle a claim by a member of the uniformed services or a civilian employee of a military department or the Coast Guard for loss of or damage to personal property incident to such individual's service.
