A bill to authorize the Attorney General of the United States to make grants and contracts to carry out local programs for the prevention of community crime.

Authorizes the Attorney General, in consultation with the Community Relations Service, to make grants to and contracts with local governments and nonprofit organizations in economically and socially disadvantaged areas to carry out community crime prevention programs. Authorizes appropriations for fiscal years 1982 through 1984 for such purpose.
