A bill to amend section 122 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 to permit local educational agencies to use funds under title I of the Act for educationally deprived children at schools which, although not otherwise eligible for funds under such title, have in attendance a significant number of educationally deprived children recently transferred to those schools because of school closings.

Amends the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 to permit local educational agencies to use funds under title I (Financial Assistance to Meet Special Educational Needs of Children) of such Act for educationally deprived children at schools which, although not otherwise eligible for such funds, have in attendance a significant number of such children recently transferred to those schools because of school closings.
