Amends the Disaster Relief Act of 1974 to limit to 25 percent of all government assistance the State and local share of expenditures for disaster assistance.
Adjusts the rental to be charged to occupants of temporary housing who require such housing as a result of a major disaster.
Authorizes appropriations for fiscal year 1982 for the purposes of this Act.
Authorizes the President to make grants to help repair or replace private nonprofit museums, zoos, libraries, and qualified historical facilities and physical fitness centers which were damaged or destroyed by a major disaster.
