A bill to amend section 1751 of title 18, United States Code, to provide the death penalty for killing a Federal officer or employee in the commission of a presidential assassination, kidnapping, or assault, and for other purposes.

Amends the Federal criminal code to subject any person who kills a Federal officer or employee during commission of a Presidential assassination, kidnapping, or assault, to the current penalties for murder or manslaughter. Authorizes a term of imprisonment up to life for attempting to kill a Federal officer or employee during any such offense.
