A bill to amend title II of the Social Security Act to permit a State to modify its coverage agreement so as to exclude services performed in any year by an election official or election worker if the remuneration paid for such services is less than $300 (instead of only if such remuneration is less than $100 as at present).

Amends title II (Old Age, Survivors and Disability Insurance) of the Social Security Act to permit a State to modify the coverage agreement under which State and local employees are eligible for title II benefits to exclude services performed by election officials and workers if the remuneration paid for such services is less than $300 for a calendar year (currently such exclusion is permitted if the remuneration paid for such services is less than $100). Makes such modification effective with respect to services performed after the last day of the calendar year preceding the year in which such modification is delivered to the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
