A bill to amend title 10 of the United States Code to allow the Secretary concerned to take into consideration various factors in determining the amount of space in military medical facilities programmed for retired members of the uniformed services and their dependents.

Allows the Secretary of the military department concerned, in determining the amount of space programmed for medical facilities for members, retired members, and their dependents, to take into consideration: (1) teaching and training requirements; (2) cost effectiveness to the government in comparison to medical care alternatives; (3) estimated demand for such space; (4) availability of staff for such space; and (5) areas having a large concentration of retired members.
