A bill to amend the Public Health Service Act to provide financial assistance for education in health services administration.
Health Services Management Act of 1981 - Amends the Public Health Service Act regarding graduate programs in health services administration for fiscal year 1983 to: (1) increase the amount of non-Federal money an applicant must provide; and (2) authorize specified appropriations for fiscal years 1983-1984.
Revises the current graduate traineeship program, for fiscal year 1982, to make such traineeships available: (1) for health services administration; (2) only to U.S. citizens, nationals, or immigrants; and (3) only to individuals with a baccalaureate degree. Authorizes specified appropriations for fiscal years 1982-1984.
Establishes grant programs for: (1) graduate health management training curricula; (2) shortage-area faculty development; and (3) nondegree management training for health professionals. Authorizes specified appropriations for fiscal years 1982-1984.
