A bill to amend the Federal Reserve Act with respect to certain reserve requirements.
Financial Industry Equity Act - Amends the Federal Reserve Act to authorize the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System to impose reserve requirements on the assets of open-end investment companies, on the deposits in transaction accounts held by persons other than depository institutions who offer transaction accounts, and on similar financial instruments. States that such reserves shall be in such form as the Board shall prescribe.
