A bill to amend title 18, United States Code, to provide penalties for obtaining or attempting to obtain controlled substances from pharmacies by force or by breaking and entering, and for other purposes.

Amends the Federal criminal code to establish penalties for whoever: (1) obtains by force or violence a controlled substance from a retail pharmacy; or (2) breaks and enters a pharmacy with intent to steal a controlled substance. Increases the penalties if any person's life is endangered by use of a dangerous weapon or if any person is assaulted or killed during commission of such offense.
