A bill to amend title XVI of the Social Security Act to eliminate the one-third benefit reduction for those Supplemental Security Income recipients who live in another household, and to continue Supplemental Security Income payments for three months when a recipient is institutionalized.

Amends title XVI (Supplemental Security Income) of the Social Security Act to: (1) provide that in the case of any individual living in another person's household, support and maintenance received in kind from such person shall not be included in the income of such individual for the purpose of determining such individual's eligibility for benefits based on income under such title; and (2) continue SSI benefits to a beneficiary for three months when such beneficiary is institutionalized.
