A bill to insure the availability of Oregon National Forest lands for timber production and other multiple uses, and to establish an appropriate balance of multiple uses on the National Forests of Oregon.
Oregon National Forest Roadless Area Resolution Act of 1981 - Designates certain national forest lands in Oregon as additions to the National Wilderness Preservation System.
Directs the Forest Service to offset any resulting timber harvest reductions by: (1) intensifying forest management practices; (2) increasing the numbers of small salvage sales; and (3) changing timber sales contracts to increase the amount of wood fiber sold.
Defines "expectable timber harvest" and "annually planned timber harvest."
