Increases the stipend for individuals participating in the Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program.
Amends the Public Health Service Act to make former members of such program who have completed all obligated service in one of the military departments eligible for special grants under such Act to engage in private practice in a health manpower shortage area.
