Authorizes the Sergeant at Arms of the Senate, with the approval of the Committee on Rules and Administration and in accordance with applicable provisions of law, to settle any claim against the United States for injury, loss of property, personal injury, or death caused by the negligent or wrongful act or omission of any Member, officer, or employee of the Senate. Allows the Committee to delegate the authority conferred by this resolution to the Chairman. Provides that any settlement of such a claim not exceeding $2,500 shall be paid from the contingent fund of the Senate.
