A resolution to limit the functions of the Select Committee on Ethics to investigations of improper misconduct, to simplify financial disclosure requirements, to repeal the limitation on outside earned income, and for other purposes.
Authorizes and directs the Senate Select Committee on Ethics to undertake a comprehensive review of the Senate Code of Official Conduct and the provisions for its enforcement and implementation and for investigation of allegations of improper conduct by Senators and officers and employees of the Senate. Directs the Select Committee to report its results and recommendations to the Senate not later than February 1, 1981.
