A bill to create a rural economic development bank to assist in rural community and agricultural development by making financial, technical, and other assistance available for the establishment or expansion of commercial, industrial, and related private and public facilities and services, and for other purposes.
Rural Economic Development Bank Act of 1979 - Establishes the Rural Economic Development Bank to provide financial, technical, and planning assistance to State and local governments in the preparation and implementation of comprehensive rural community development projects and programs. Provides for the management and capitalization of such Bank.
