Grants to the Federal district courts jurisdiction (without regard to the amount in controversy or citizenship of the parties) of civil actions brought by parties to contracts or agreements which: (1) were executed before June 5, 1933, and remained in effect after the date of enactment; (2) provided for the payment of consideration in gold or its equivalent in United States currency; and (3) were declared to be unenforceable as against public policy under the joint resolution of June 5, 1933.
Authorizes the court, after consideration of specified factors, to make an appropriate order to modify or adjust such obligations or rescind such contracts or agreements.
