A bill to amend the Federal Power Act to revise procedures for the changing of rates.
Federal Power Act Amendments of 1979 - Amends the Federal Power Act to prohibit any new rate schedule increasing the rates of a public utility which sells electricity of a specified size from taking effect unless the Federal Power Commission has found such rate increase just and reasonable.
