Amends title XIV of the Public Health Service Act (Safety of Public Water Systems) to extend through fiscal year 1982 authorizations of appropriations for: (1) research, technical assistance, information, and training of personnel; (2) grants for State underground water source protection programs; and (3) grants for State public water system supervision programs.
Extends to September 30, 1982, the effective period for a certificate of need or order with respect to chemical treatment of water.
