A resolution to amend the Rules of the House of Representatives to provide greater flexibility in the establishment of the periods during which pages of the House may be employed, including authority to reduce the number of pages' positions during recesses or adjournments.

Amends rule V of the Rules of the House of Representatives to specify that the employment of the pages of the House shall begin and end at such times as the Speaker shall direct. Allows the Speaker to provide for the continuation or termination of their employment, or for a reduction in the number of pages authorized to be employed, during any period when the House has recessed or adjourned.
