A bill to amend title 18 of the United States Code to provide penalties for assaults against the elderly that result in medical expenses paid by the United States.
Senior Citizens' Protection Act of 1977 - Makes it an offense to assault an individual age 62 or older and cause medical damages of more than $100 paid under title XVIII of the Social Security Act. Establishes criminal penalties of 30 days to five years imprisonment and/or a $500 fine for such offense.
