A bill to amend title 38 of the United States Code to provide an alternative method for computing dependency and indemnity compensation in order to insure that in certain instances the survivors of deceased veterans receive an amount of compensation equal to that to which they would have been entitled if such veterans had been civil service employees killed while performing job-related functions.
