A bill to establish the goal of reducing Federal paperwork costs by 33 per centum over a three-year period, to prescribe the procedures for the reduction of such costs, to provide for the development of strategies and methods for determining such costs and effecting such reductions, and for other purposes.
Emergency Small Business Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980 - Requires each executive agency and independent agency to reduce Federal paperwork costs relating to small business by 33 percent over a three year period. Requires such agencies to report to Congress concerning such reductions within three years after enactment of this Act.
Directs the President and the Comptroller General to develop strategies and methods for such paperwork cost reductions.
