A bill to direct the Secretary of the Treasury to strike and sell gold medallions to the general public.

Directs the Secretary of the Treasury to strike and sell at market value 1,000,000 gold medallions in one ounce, one-half ounce, and one-quarter ounce weights. Requires such medallions to contain, in the aggregate, at least 500,000 troy ounces of fine gold. Requires each medallion to bear a likeness of George Meany.
