Amends the Military Personnel and Civilian Employees Claims Act of 1964 to increase from $15,000 to $25,000 the maximum amount that the United States must pay in settlement of a claim for personal property losses incident to service by a member or civilian employee of the uniformed services or other Federal agencies.
Provides for a maximum settlement amount of $35,000 in cases of evacuation from a foreign country.
