Bread Labeling Act - Amends the Agricultural Act of 1949 to require that every loaf of bread in packaged form distributed in interstate or foreign commerce shall bear a label specifying (in cents per pound) the cost to the manufacturer of the farm product ingredients of the bread.
Permits the Attorney General, at the request of the Secretary of Agriculture, to seek an injunction or restraining order in the appropriate U.S. district court for violations of the labeling requirements imposed by this Act. Provides for civil penalties of up to $1,000 for each violation of this Act.
