a bill to amend title XVI of the Social Security Act to provide that interest on savings accounts (and other amounts similarly paid on deposits in financial institutions), if less than $60 in a calendar quarter, shall be excluded in determining an individual's income for eligibility and benefit purposes under the SSI program.
