A bill to amend the Older Americans Act of 1965 to require States receiving certain grants under such Act to establish home maintenance assistance programs to enable older persons to continue living independently in a home environment.

Amends the Older Americans Act of 1965 to require States receiving certain grants under such Act to establish home maintenance assistance programs.

Authorizes appropriations for such programs. Requires that a minimum of $20,000,000 be made available for such programs in fiscal year 1981.
