Amends the Energy Policy and Conservation Act to direct the Comptroller General to establish a program to determine and reconcile any differences in data collected on petroleum product imports by: (1) the Energy Information Administration of the Department of Energy; and (2) the United States Customs Service of the Department of the Treasury.
Directs the Comptroller General to report to Congress quarterly on the findings of such program.
Directs the Commissioner of Customs to establish and implement a program for the collection and verification of data on the total volumes of all petroleum product imports.
