Truth in Mileage Act of 1979 - Amends the Motor Vehicle Information and Cost Savings Act to require the Environmental Protection Agency to base its automobile fuel economy tests upon actual road testing.
Sets forth criminal penalties for officers or employees of the Agency which violate such requirement.
