A bill to provide for the establishment of a National Museum of Afro-American History and Culture in the vicinity of Wilberforce, Ohio.
Afro-American Museum Act - Directs the Secretary of the Interior to establish and operate the National Museum of Afro-American History and Culture in the vicinity of Wilberforce, Ohio, for the preservation, collection, and display of objects pertaining to the history and culture of Afro-Americans.
Authorizes the Secretary to borrow or acquire appropriate works of art and any other real or personal property necessary for the establishment and operation of the museum.
Authorizes the Secretary to cooperate with the Ohio Historical Society, Central State University, Wilberforce University, and with other interested persons concerning the operation of the museum and the development of museum programs.
