A bill to provide that a debt for a child support obligation which is assigned to a State is not dischargeable in bankruptcy.

Prohibits from being released by a discharge in bankruptcy a debt which is a child support obligation assigned to a State as a condition of eligibility for aid under part A (Aid to Families with Dependent Children) of title IV of the Social Security Act.
