A bill to develop and test various methods of brush and vegetation control on National Forest System lands to enhance reforestation in an environmentally safe manner.

Authorizes the Secretary of Agriculture to conduct a program to develop methods of vegetation control on National Forest System lands, such program to include the conduct of research and pilot tests to indicate the control methods which are: (1) most economical; (2) most beneficial to the forest environment; (3) most beneficial to the growth of restocked trees; and (4) not hazardous to the public health and safety.
