Authorizes the Secretary of Agriculture to conduct a program to develop methods of vegetation control on National Forest System lands, such program to include the conduct of research and pilot tests to indicate the control methods which are: (1) most economical; (2) most beneficial to the forest environment; (3) most beneficial to the growth of restocked trees; and (4) not hazardous to the public health and safety.
