A bill to amend title IV, XI, and XIX of the Social Security Act to increase the Federal matching rate for purposes of reimbursement to States under the programs of aid to needy families with children and medical assistance.
Uniform Federal Welfare and Medicaid Assistance Act of 1979 - Amends title IV (Aid to Families with Dependent Children) and title XIX (Medicaid) of the Social Security Act to provide that the Federal matching rate for purposes of reimbursement to States under the programs of aid to needy families with children and medical assistance shall be set at 75 percent.
