A bill to improve the efficiency of Federal agencies by requiring the completion of rule making proceedings in a timely manner.
Federal Rule Making Timetable Act of 1979 - Directs each Federal agency to establish a timetable for each class of rulemaking proceeding conducted by that agency. Requires an agency to publish in the Federal Register: (1) an explanation of any change in the timetable for any individual, or class of proceeding; and (2) the revised timetable for such proceeding.
