Amends the Railroad Revitalization and Regulatory Reform Act of 1976 to eliminate the requirement that Federal contributions to improve the nonoperational portions of stations used in intercity rail passenger service and of related facilities and fencing within the Northeast Corridor improvement project be limited to 50 percent of the cost of such improvements.
Increases the amount authorized to be appropriated to effectuate such improvements.
