Establishes criminal penalties for anyone who knowingly propels any object, or fires a firearm, at a railroad train or car used by any railroad common carrier that engages in the transportation of passengers or property by rail in interstate or foreign commerce.
Increases such penalties where such acts result in death or physical injury of a person.
Extends the offenses of entering a train to commit a crime and wrecking trains to include any train used by any railroad common carrier that engages in the transportation of passengers or property by rail in interstate or foreign commerce.
