A bill to amend title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to extend to certain Federal public safety officers certain benefits now accorded State and local public safety officers.

Amends title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to provide to Federal public safety officers who are employed in a civilian capacity the same benefits accorded to State and local public safety officers.
