Emergency Medical Services Amendments of 1979 - Amends title XII of the Public Health Service Act (Emergency Medical Services Systems) to make certain revisions with respect to the grant procedure for the establishment, initial operation, and improvement of emergency medical services systems.
Extends the authorization of appropriations through fiscal year 1982 for assistance for emergency medical services systems.
Authorizes the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare to make grants to hospitals with special expertise in burn injuries to assist in providing fellowships for burn treatment training.
