A resolution to commend Head Football Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant and the University of Alabama for having made the 1977 football season another memorable one for fans throughout the Nation.

Extends the commendation of the Senate to the University of Alabama and other teams and their coaches and staffs for having provided millions of fans throughout the Nation a year of outstanding and wholesome competition that brings credit to their schools and to national collegiate football.
